This fabric has been in my stash for a while. I originally purchased this fabric a couple years ago from Mood Fabrics, with the goal to sew a custom dress. Similar to this style here. I was originally attracted to the sheer printed blue details in the skirt.
I guess over the years some of the material was cut into a pattern to sew the dress. When I went to locate the fabric, because I was ready to sew, I could not find enough yardage or pattern pieces to sew the original style dress. Since I had the fabric for years and liked the material, I still wanted to create something. With the fabric I decided on a simple custom-made A- Line Skirt, which I constructed the pattern and waistband.
