Feeling sexy, classy and like dancing salsa in my custom slip dress. A slip dress is an easy transition from day to evening. Wear around the house and lounge. Dress up with heels and head out for a night of dancing. The slip dress is also a great transition piece for your wardrobe. It can be layered in cooler weather with a turtleneck, boots and a leather jacket. Also looks great with accessories.
This was a fairly easy project to sew, after I made adjustments to correct the measurements. I used pattern Simplicity 8413 as a base and made a few adjustments. I added facing to the front and back top of the dress. In addition, I wanted the dress to have a little flair at the waist.
