Wrap the body with beautiful fabric which fits perfectly and adjust to the flowing curves. The wrap dress is one of my favorite styles of dresses, because it can flatter almost all kinds of body shapes. Wrap dresses is a perfect style dress to wear to work and dinner with a friend.
Inspiration for the wrap dress came from DVF style of dresses. I love how the DVF designers use colors and prints to create various pattern to be sold all over the world.
I am also inspired by the Diane Von Frustenburg story about how she began her business, traveled the world and re-branded her business later in life. She amazes me as a talented business woman, creative and a lady of substance.
Sewing the dress was fun! I thought about stopping sewing after I sewing the top of the dress together. It looked like a really wrap top that could be worn with skinny jeans or a long flowing skirt. Perfect for the spring weather. Nevertheless, I decided to complete a wrap dress.
I selected a bright jersey print from G Street fabrics. The colors created an exciting and fun feeling. As I wore the dress and twirled around the fabric flowed perfectly with the wind.

Thank you Yvette! I used Vogue pattern V8379. The pattern was pretty straight-forward and easy to follow directions. Best with sewing your wrap dress.
