Valentine’s day is around the corner, and its a great time to share more love. Heart pillows is an easy DIY project to create for yourself, hubby or the kids.  Students can craft with your students.  The gift is a perfect project to sew with the kids and they can give as gifts to their friends or other family members. This DIY project can be hand-sewn or with a sewing machine. Spread more love with hearts.

Materials
Fabric
Stuffing
Scissors
Thread
Needle
Rope or Ribbon

Step 1: Cut fabric into hearts
Step 2: Pin hearts with color (right) sides together

Step 3: Sew ribbon on middle edge. Just the top.

A quick back & forth on the sewing machine or 6 stitches by hand.

Place ribbon toward the center of fabric.

Step 4: Sew around edge. Leave a 2 inch hole to turn fabric to right side

Step 5: Clip edges of heart. Before your turn to the (right side)

Step 6: Turn fabric to right side

Step 7: Add stuffing to inside of heart pillow

Step 8: Sew pillow hole closed

Step 9: Complete!! Hang in a beautiful space in your home or gift to a friend!
