I had the opportunity to tour the behind-the-scenes of hat designing at Worth & Worth in New York City. I was introduced to the process of making a hat and shaping it. Hat making is an art and beautiful skills. Wearing a unique hats, helps accentuate someone’s style and captures their individuality. Like any accessory, hats can make an outfit stand out.

I was interested in learning about the hat-making process, because of the art of using your hands to create and shape fabric. Similar to sewing a garment where you began with a piece of fabric or wool and use you hands and some machine to form the subject. Great DIY project.
