Maxi skirts are very practical and stylish. I can wear a maxi skirt or dress everyday of summer, they are just so comfortable. Working as a sewing teacher with kids requires a fair amount of movement cutting material, sewing, fitting and adjusting. A maxi skirt and dress allows for flexible movement and full coverage.
I sewed a salmon color satin gathered skirt, which I wore for an afternoon gathering on the town. My style was casual chic, paired the satin skirt with an off the shoulder white T- shirt, simple jewelry and tan wedges. A comfortable pair of wedges are great for a long day walking around the city.
