Have you ever worn a piece of fabric in place of a skirt or scarf? Fabric can be your best accessory! Grab a large piece of colorful fabric and tie it various ways to wear with a garment that you already have in your closet. This is a no sewing approach!
I love wearing a long piece of fabric folded to make a lounge skirt for the house or beach sarong. A large piece of fabric can also be tied into a top to wear with a pencil skirt of cigarette pants.
A few ways to wear a large piece of fabric without sewing:
Scarf
Wear as the perfect accessory by twisting the fabric and tying around your neck loosely and add a small broach for a statement.
Skirt
Tie around your waist and tie on the side for a quick and easy skirt.
Top
Hand fabric loosely over the shoulder and tie in a knot under the arm for a similar style kimono blouse.
There is a plethora of ways to wear fabric without sewing. Sometimes we do not have the energy to sew an entire garment and have to head to an event quickly. Try a no sewing approach and tie and fold a large piece of fabric to make a nice fashion declaration.
I love working with personal clients styling and creating exciting new ways to refashion their wardrobe.
Love & Blessings,
Kay
